Welcome to the website of the Phare Twinning Project for the implementation of the European Fund for Regional Development (ERDF) in Poland. This Phare Twinning project (Code: Pl/IB/2002/OT/03C) is a cooperation between the German Federal Minstry of Economy and Labour (BMWA), the French Delegation for Regional Planning and Regional Development (DATAR) and the Polish Ministry of Economy, Labour and Social Policy (MGPiPS).

Project Objective

The objective of the twinning operation is to strengthen Poland's institutional structures to achieve sound and efficient management of Structural Funds upon accession to the European Union (EU), to establish an institutional framework with necessary administrative capacity to be able to effectively co-ordinate and implement the Structural Funds in Poland. The project concentrates on the establishment of the required structures for the management of the European Regional Development Fund including a further development of the database comprising all information indispensable for projects implementation under ERDF.
